The Dolphin Cruising Club was formed in 1982.  It was founded by a group of like-minded yachtsmen, who liked cruising and socializing.  We do not have a clubhouse.  Instead, we meet at our various rallies throughout the sailing season to enjoy each other’s company and hospitality.  This convivial nature continues during the winter with several shore-based activities.

“Our sailing, it has to be said is mostly cruising although we do have trophies to award for some friendly but ‘competitive’ racing if enough members feel inclined!

Our rallies are mostly in and around the Solent, with the occasional trip further afield. But getting together is not just limited to the formal rallies.  We also have a number of shore based socialising or visits to places of interest between rallies.
